Listen to the crash of the Pacific as you sample stunning wines in our beautiful tasting room. Designed in-house and entirely outfitted by local craftsmen, it, like our wines, engages all our senses. Let us pour you a glass of regionally sourced wine that has been mindfully curated to best represent Mendocino County’s unique terroir. Flights, glasses, and bottles (as well as gifts and local lore) can all be found at our redwood tasting table, where the wine tells the stories. There are three tiers within our wine club, named in honor of the many writers who have found inspiration in Mendocino County: The Poem, The Novella, and The Magnum Opus. Mendocino County has long been a haven for creatives, who fled the cities to find inspiration in its verdant valleys and craggy coastlines. Our wine club pays homage not only to the written word, but to stories in all their myriad forms. Every one of our wines contains a narrative; complex and unique. To savor a bottle is to hear its story unfold: page by page, glass by glass, sip by sip. Whether the book is ended or the bottle empty, we should find ourselves sated and satisfied; richer than we were before. OUR STORY
Born in 2018, MendoVino is located in the heart of historic Mendocino village, a stone’s throw from the ocean. Our wine bar is family-owned and operated, every day. We are dedicated to showcasing the finest wines from the most exceptional vineyards of Anderson Valley and beyond. Our wines are carefully chosen and thoughtfully sourced to ensure that every bottle we pour is one of character. Our hand-crafted cellar was designed by owner Michael Gordon and realized through the expertise of numerous local artists and builders. Every piece in our tasting room was hand-crafted with intention, and tells a story. And the same can be said of our wines. Come hear our stories; come taste our stories, and come find your own. Our most prestigious tier, the Magnum Opus represents the fullest breadth of Mendocino County’s capabilities; unforgettable and sweeping. With twelve bottles delivered twice each year, this tier allows you to truly experience the vast scope of our wines: the subtle personalities and hidden gems as well as the more gregarious characters and beloved regulars. Membership in this tier entitles you to invitations to exclusive winery events, unlimited complimentary tastings whenever you’re in town, and an even steeper discount off our already vineyard-priced wines for follow-up purchases when you inevitably fall in love with a bottle.

The Novella
The Novella will find you with six bottles twice each year; a mix of reds and whites that we find intriguing and want to get to know better. Designed to deepen familiarity with the varietals and vintages of Mendocino County and showcase some hard-to-find treasures, your delivery will be varied and provocative; wines that you’ll remember far beyond the last glass, and that will heighten and delight your senses. This tier includes invitations to special events, as well as complimentary tastings at our tasting room whenever you come to Mendocino.

The Poem
The pen, they say, is mightier than the sword, and our lightest wine club tier is no less mighty for being petite. A selection of four bottles twice yearly is, like a well-wrought poem, an exercise in spare, sparse oenophilia: wines that stand alone, that shine, that linger with you long after the cork is tossed away.
