Stone Meadow Hand Grown Produce will be at Rushford & Sons Brewhouse in Upton, MA today from noon to 4pm selling handmade, sustainable Christmas wreathes made from our fresh greens from the farm. CandleInterpretations will also be there selling artistic, recycled candles to benefit wildlife rehabbers. Tons of other local artisans, food and don’t forget the great beer!

I like big burls and I cannot lie!

Ever wonder what these things are? A tree burl is a bulbous, woody growth often found on a tree. They are commonly seen in the form of a rounded outgrowth that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burls are often a result of some form of stress such as an injury or infection. However, as long as bark covers the outside of the burl, the tree tissue is protected. Burls rarely cause harm to the tree.

Wreath season is upon us! Stone Meadow Hand Grown Produce will be selling handmade, sustainable holiday wreathes at 3 events this season.
--November 30th we will be and Sons Brewhouse Sip-n-Shop in at 8 Grove Street in Upton MA, from noon to 4pm.
--December First we will be at Don't Bee Shy's Farm Day from 11am to 3pm at 165 Pond St. in Uxbridge, MA.
--December 7th we will be at Friends of Historic Hopedale's Holiday Stroll and Shop (at the Draper Gymnasium on Dutcher St.) from noon to 7pm.

Today! The rain is holding off! Daniels Farmstead Farmers Market in Blackstone MA, from 11am to 2pm.
Stone Meadow Hand Grown Produce will have flowers, beans, long beans, heirloom tomatoes, squash, cukes, eggplant an the infamous Carolina Reaper pepper (eat at your own rock as it’s the hottest pepper in the world).
CandleInterpretations will also be in the booth with artistic, recycled candles that benefit local Wildlife rehabbers.
