Not the best shot but today I spotted the first monarch of the year on the farm! We leave a portion of our farm un-mowed and lots of milkweed grows there🐛🌱

We unfortunately did get a slight frost on our farm last night, green beans will be replanted this week.
But we never know what we’re going to get with our New England weather!

🌱 2026 Spring/Summer CSA – Shares Still Available! 🌱

Our 14-week CSA season runs June through the end of August, and we still have a limited number of shares available for the 2026 season!

With our farmers market–style pickup, you’ll get to choose your vegetables each week from that week’s harvest. We aim to have a variety of 5 or more vegetables available each pickup, so you can build a share that fits what you love to cook and eat.

Throughout the season you can expect fresh, locally grown vegetables like lettuce, spinach, kale, bok choy, cabbage, snap peas, beans, radishes, salad turnips, tomatoes, peppers, and more. 🥬🍅🌱

CSA members get first access to the harvest each week, and it’s one of the best ways to enjoy truly fresh food while supporting your local farm.

ALSO- Something big is coming to the farm this season… 🌱

We’ve been working behind the scenes on something we’re really excited about, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Not quite ready to spill the details yet… but it’s going to be a great addition to the farm.

Any guesses what it might be? 👇

Tried explaining daylight savings time to the chickens this morning.
They were not impressed. Breakfast was demanded immediately🌞🐓

Most people assume farmers pushed for daylight saving time, but history tells a different story. When the U.S. first adopted the clock change in 1918, many farmers opposed it because crops and livestock follow the sun, not the clock. Share this with someone who still blames farmers for the time change.
