A little change of plans for Thrive Farm Bake Shop today! 🍂💗

I’m so sad to miss Prater’s Mill. I was really looking forward to being there, but with the rain, I couldn’t keep my baked goods protected at an outdoor event.

You can still come find me today—indoors and out of the rain—at the Candy Corn Cauldron Fall Market at Camp Jordan Arena in East Ridge, Tennessee! 🎃

Happy October 🎃 Garden update❣️The more I harvest my basil, the more I get. I’m thinking about I basil lemon salt 🤔 I am also waiting for the basil flowers to harvest for next year’s seeds.
So much rosemary!!!
I’m super excited about the little acorn quash and heirloom butternuts.
The peppers will not stop and check out that gorgeous zucchini❣️🌱
I’m hoping to plant some daffodils and lilys next so I you have any for sale locally or have a source you love, please share.

Little horse, big conversation. 🐴🤎

Horses communicate through posture, movement, ears, and the space between them. A lowered head, a turn toward—or away—can give us something to notice. Understanding comes from watching the whole interaction.

Lil Red is a rescue….her hooves are curled under her feet. The farrier is working to rehabilitate her. She walks but here she is resting outside of Sienna’s stall.

In equine-assisted therapy, we practice slowing down, noticing, and responding thoughtfully—skills we can bring into our human relationships, too.

Sometimes the quietest conversations give us the most to notice.
