Lazy X Heart Ranch Welcome to our ranch in Menoken, ND. We raise American Quarter horses and black Angus cattle.

We have been raising AQHA Performance horses since 1977 in Menoken, ND. We focus on breeding all-around horses that can be used all day on the ranch, barrel races, and shows. We currently stand Freckles Shining Ace (Palomino grandson of Shining Spark), RCOne Little Pepto (Sorrel son of One Time Pepto), and Shiver N Shine Two (Perlino son of Shake Shiver N Shine). We have a wide variety of broodmar

e bloodlines but primarily have Shining Spark, Freckles Playboy, Peptoboonsmal, Boon Bar, and Playgun bred mares. Check out our website for full listings of our mares and available horses.

One darn successful weekend! 🙏🏼

Somehow, between the short two day weekend, we were able to work all of the cattle, mow all the lawn, feed everyone, cuddle some kittens, send Charlee to training, and get all of the mares in with studs. Thankful for the help that we had this weekend from our friends, Liz and James.

Yesterday, Wine O was crowned the Reserve Solid Junior Ranch Reining World Champion! 🥈

And today, he followed it up with another outstanding performance, earning a Top 5 finish in Junior Solid Ranch Rail!
