Barron Fall Sale catalog is up and our lady, Grand-View Bradnick Jade-TW will be offered for your consideration! We will be testing this week to update her production record as well as get preg check results back. Haven't seen her come into heat, so we are hopeful she's got a beautiful Doc (hopefully heifer) on the way! She was bred with sexed semen so the chances are good 👍
First two photos are from the end of her 1st lactation, last two photos are from August. She's a beautiful girl that makes some nice babies! Pictured in the catalog is her Apple-Crisp heifer calf shown at the 2021 District Show. Jade herself has also been shown at the District level, so could easily go right back into some cow classes next summer!
She's easy going, very sweet and loves scratches under the chin, easy to milk, breeds back, and produces darn well even with our No TMR, no corn silage ration. We would expect her to increase in production a little for this lactation if she's in a herd that provides those components in their milk cow ration. She's a very healthy cow, zero issues with her, and even as a calf she was the picture of health, no scours, no pneumonia. She's been vaccinated with Bovishield Gold FP5 L5 prior to breeding, so good to go until her J-5 vaccine closer to calving. Full vaccination records available upon request.
Bring her home, milk her a few months, dry her up, let her calve in and watch her bloom into her 3rd lactation for you. She's got a lot of years left to be a good, productive cow in her new herd!
