We ended up at the Shipshewana Show yesterday 12/13 with 6 rabbits in total. Showed in both shows and the specialty as well. Not unhappy with the results as they placed how we thought they would. Got good feedback and know we need to work on depths and top lines moving forward.

Torts
Molasses- 2nd Sr Doe x2, 3rd Sr Doe x1
Amaryllis- 3rd Sr Doe x2, 4th Sr Doe x1
Mustard Seed- 2nd Sr Buck x3
No Name- 3rd Sr Buck x2, 4th Sr Buck x1
Steve- 3rd Sr Buck x1, 4th Sr Buck x2

Blue
Azul-1/1 Sr Buck, BOSV X4 (Only 2 blues in all 3 shows)

We also picked up a Tri Jr Buck to start working on a some Tri Lines!

Now that convention is over, I am excited to say we added a breeding pair to the barn with a new Black Tort doe and buck from NC! We are excited to see how these two improve the lines we have in the barn with some needed depth and width to the future babies.

They were both entered at convention. I'm not sure on placing for the buck as he is still young and has an immature coat but the doe placed 2/10 for tort senior does!

Pictured is the buck!

So far both mom's are taking great care of these littles and hopefully continue to do so! These pics are from the day after the babies were born.

Haven't posted in awhile but we should have some babies here at the end of the month, bred our tried and true of Cinnamon and Dexter, and then two new pairing of No Name and Wednesday, and Luna and Azul. Hopefully all three have successful litters.

Picture of Azul from when he was only a few months old!

Took some quick photos of a few that we are going to let hop. No one wanted to pose well since it was still pretty warm. Trying to really focus on our mini rex torts and getting some new lines in the rabbitry to do this requires opening some holes.

Netherland Dwarf

Sr Doe- Siamese Smoke Pearl- brood as she is 3 . Has not been bred as we did not have the time

Sr Buck- Siamese Smoke Pearl- he is also well fed. He had some nice short and tight ears.

These were going to be the start of something new for us, but we have decided to focus on one project at a time.

Mini Rexes

Sr Doe- Black. She just does not work for our tirt program and is related to both bucks we are using in this program. Was DQ from show due to excessive scattered whites but is currently going through a massive molt which should help reduce the whites.

Jr Buck- Blue. Beautiful rich blue coat. Again related to most of our rabbitry and am keeping his sister for our tort program. Soft in coat as he is just now 9 weeks old. May end up on the larger size.

Jr. Buck- Black Tort. Love this little guy and his coloring. Still soft in coat as he is just now 9weeks. Keeping his sister that we like better and have another Buck already that we are keeping for our program.

Update on the 3 babies!

They are all doing well and have made it to the 2 week mark. Cinnamon gave us a solid blue and a solid black tort and Wednesday gave us a Solid black Tort as well!

Also this is when they are the most adorable in my opinion 😍

Our of the 4 does we bred, we have only had 2 give us litters. And they are small litters at 2 kits each. Cinnamons are thriving. Wednesday had 2 but one didn't make it so her kit is fostered to Cinnamon as well. Looks like we ended up with 2 black torts and one black.
