May on the farm 🌾
This year’s rice crop is officially growing on our rice farm in Louisiana, and over the last several weeks we’ve seen the fields begin to transform day by day.
After a few good rains, the rice seeds have germinated and started breaking through the soil, reaching toward the light. The crop is now entering the tillering stage, where each plant begins producing additional shoots as the season continues.
Levees have also been pulled as we prepare for the next phase of the growing season.
There’s something special about this time of year. Fresh growth, longer days, and the excitement of another crop taking shape across the farm.

We’ll be back in June with another update from the fields.

The moms, grandmothers, sisters, and mother figures who gather people around the table, pass down traditions, and show love in a thousand quiet and meaningful ways.
From family meals to everyday moments together, so much of our story begins with them.

We loved being part of ’s Earth Day episode, where shared our USA-grown rice and made the most delightful rice pudding parfaits.

This Earth Day, we’re thinking about the land that’s given so much to us and what it means to care for it well, not just today, but every day.
Our story starts in the fields, and it’s shaped by a simple belief: we should leave the land better than we found it.

That belief led us to partner with and become a Certified Plastic Neutral company.

Through that work, we’ve directly helped recover over 37,000 pounds of plastic from the environment so far this year, the equivalent of more than 930,000 bottles.
It’s one way we’re taking responsibility for our footprint and giving back to the places that make what we do possible.

April Farm Update 🚜🌾
We caught up with Chantel and her girls out at the farm as spring starts to settle in. The fields are waking up, and planting season is officially underway.

Spring at the farm is one of the best times of year, full of possibility as this year’s crop goes into the ground.

We’ll be sharing more from the farm each month, following the growing season as our rice moves from our Louisiana fields to your tables across the country.

It’s Monday, and if you’re already wondering what’s for dinner this week… we’ve got you!
Our go-to? Rice bowls. 🥗 Fresh, flexible, and easy to pull together with whatever you’ve got on hand.

Here’s how we build ours:

Start with a scoop of 4Sisters Rice. 🍚
White, jasmine, brown, or sushi… you really can’t go wrong.

Add your protein, if you’d like. 🍗
Grilled chicken, sautéed shrimp, crispy tofu, even a jammy egg. Or skip it, a great bowl doesn’t have to have it.

Pile on the veggies. 🥒🌽
Think crisp cucumbers, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh greens, charred corn… whatever feels good.

Finish with a sauce. ✨
A creamy drizzle, a bright vinaigrette, a little heat if you like it spicy.

And if you want to take it up a notch:
Crumbled feta, toasted nuts, fresh herbs… those little extras make it.

Simple to make, nourishing, and something everyone can feel good about.
