Tender carnitas tucked into warm tortillas with all the fixings and house-made salsas, Mexican rice and savory borracho beans. Finish with cinnamon tres leches cake soaked in creamy goodness 😋

🍗 2. A Little Saucy, A Little Unstable
Tuscan garlic chicken in luscious Parmesan cream sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, roasted broccoli and warm bread for every last drop. Classic tiramisu seals the deal 🤤🤤

🔥 3. Smokin’ Hot Mess
Tender chicken and smoky sausage in a rich garlic cream sauce with sweet peppers and caramelized onions—big flavor, mild seasoning! Served with creamy mac & cheese, crunchy apple slaw and carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream and Biscoff crumble 🥰

🙏🙏🙏 PLEASE tell them we’re having an event in their honor 😂

I’m making a Friendsgiving feast, followed by a game like Cards Against Humanity—but with a Northwoods twist. Deer camp, small-town nonsense, and answers that should probably be delivered through an attorney 🤫

I’ll be feeding all of you AND hosting. So yes, the woman who carefully places tiny flowers on your food will also be reading absolute filth on Sunday 11/15. We all contain multitudes.

Bring the friend you can’t put on speakerphone. Bring the spouse you kick under the table. Bring someone quiet—we’ve all learned those are the ones you need to watch 👀

Come for the food. Stay because your table just submitted something so foul you need to know who wrote it 😂

I LOVE putting these little gifts together for my brides and brides-to-be—my little pretties. 🤎

Our first weekend without a wedding, and nobody handed me a timeline. Am I supposed to just… sit down? NOPE! 😂

We had a record 18 weddings this season, PLUS all the private dinners, local celebrations, corporate events, and everything we somehow are able to fit in between. My feet would like to request a meeting 😂🤎

We’re feeling so thankful for every couple, every client, and everyone who recommended our little family business. Being trusted to feed your favorite people never gets old ❤️

Last night we were back at it with a private event for returning clients—which is about the nicest compliment you can give us. Did I take pictures? Not really. Ok, just one😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Now we’re planning our 2027 weddings AND getting ready for this year’s holiday parties and social gatherings! 🎄 Office party? Family gathering? Accidentally told everyone you’d host? Let’s talk before you find yourself panic-buying cheese on December 23.

It’s National Taco Day! 🌮 I’m Mexican, so technically this is a work holiday. Unfortunately, my boss is also me, and she’s already asking what’s for dinner 😂

Thank you, Hannah and Alex, for trusting us to be part of your wedding day! 💛 It meant so much to cook for you and your loved ones—and you know I couldn’t let the passed hors d’oeuvres show up without a little personality. 😂

The Wisconsin cheese curds got their own tiny county fair, complete with twinkle lights and a blue ribbon. Our glazed roasted root vegetable skewers arrived in an Enchanted Harvest Garden with a picket fence. And the bacon-wrapped little smokies went camping beside tiny glowing campfires. 🔥🌿🧀

Yes, the vegetables had landscaping and the smokies had accommodations. Apparently, “just put them on a tray” is not in my vocabulary. 🤣

Then came salmon, chicken, fettuccine, and all the delicious fixings—a meal made with love for a day filled with it.

Hannah and Alex, thank you for letting us bring a little whimsy to your celebration. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and really good food! And thank you to my wonderful crew for bringing my little food worlds to life, one passed tray at a time. 🥂💕

Proof that you do not need to have it all figured out when you start. You just need to start 😂

First photo:
“Everything is hot, everybody has food, we did it.”

Second photo:
“Wait. Nobody touch the table. The greenery is leaning weird.” 😂🌿

The funny part is, the food was always good. The heart was always there. The difference is what happens when you keep showing up long enough to develop your own style, your own systems, and approximately 500 extra things you now believe are “absolutely necessary” for a setup. 😅

People love quick results, but most things WORTH BUILDING do not happen that way.

Long-term consistency will beat short-term intensity EVERY SINGLE TIME.

You do a little.
You learn a little.
You get better.
You keep going.
And one day you put two pictures next to each other and think…

Well damn. Look what I did 😂🤎

So if you are in your “first photo” season right now, do not underestimate it.
That version of you is building the version you have not met yet 🥰

A Wedding in the Porcupine Mountains: Meghan & Austin

When Meghan and Austin contacted me about catering their wedding at the Porkies Ski Resort, I was excited before we even talked about the menu. The Upper Peninsula is one of my favorite places to be. The Porcupine Mountains, Lake Superior, and fall colors all in one wedding weekend? I felt lucky to be heading up there.

And somehow, the day kept getting more beautiful. From the tables set beneath those soaring windows to all the thoughtful details Meghan and Austin had chosen, every time I looked up from our work, something else made me stop and smile. The trees were beginning to show off, too, as if they knew there was a wedding 😉

We with beef tenderloin crostini topped with creamy horseradish, caramelized onions, and fresh herbs. For dinner, guests enjoyed chicken piccata with lemon-butter sauce and capers, cranberry wild rice, garlic herb potatoes, a maple-glazed vegetable medley, and our Field & Fork garden salad. Artisan bread and butter were served family-style, giving everyone one more reason to settle in around the table together.

I love seeing a menu come to life in a room full of people who are happy to be there. Meghan and Austin gave their guests such a lovely place to gather, and it was a joy for us to feed them.

Congratulations, Meghan and Austin. Thank you for inviting us to be part of your day. I’ll remember the food, the view, and that feeling of looking around and thinking: WOW!! We really get to be here 🤍
