Hatch day is the best day!! 🐣

Back in October I gave away my entire flock. We were planning on moving up north to Michigan but that didn’t work out. We are slowly rebuilding, one hatch at a time. This is our second hatch and we’ve got another in one week. Hoping for some beautiful, fluffy babies and lots of pretty eggs. 🥚 🥚 🐣

So far, 9 have made their debut ❤️

These beautiful sisters came to us today from West Tennessee Frenchies. They are so fun and THICK 😂

Gracie is Lilac and black Merle, so sweet and has heterochromia (1 blue eye, 1 brown).

Elsie has blue eyes, is a little feistier and is lilac and black Merle. We keep saying she’s got a “sleeve” like me to differentiate between them lol.

30 eggs in lockdown, 2 other incubators running full steam ahead. New puppies. Chicks to be moved to the grow out pen before the new ones hatch. Monitoring the garden I just planted and starting some flower seeds.

Next up: build a vine house for my grapes, blueberries and blackberries next to the greenhouse. I’m a tired farm mama 😂

Side note: the new farm flag was finally delivered. Waiting on my Army flag and we will have all 3 hanging at our front entrance. 🇺🇸
