So in total, what we got from 2 gallons of raw milk: pint and a half of clabber, 3 pints of sour cream, half a gallon to drink, quart of chocolate milk to drink, 5 1/2 pints of yogurt. This cost $10. How much do you think it would cost at the store? I talked about A1A1 vs A2A2 milk. A one milk typically comes from black-and-white, Holstein cows. A two milk typically comes from color, cows, jersey, Guernsey, etc. There is a rabbit hole to go down! And I get really bad G.I. upset with A1 milk. A two milk absolutely none! No little lactose pills nothing. Chug it straight out of the jug! We have other friends who have pasteurized but not homogenized milk. It’s so much better than the pasteurized homogenized. Give it a try! Find a local dairy and shop local! Thank you.!

Homemade from raw milk, vanilla honey yogurt. It’s ready overnight. I used 1 gallon of milk, about a tablespoon of vanilla when the recipe calls for it. I used about a tablespoon of honey in each pint size jar. Yes it’s a lot. It’s my yogurt! Lesson # if you don’t like that much. Follow the instructions for your instant pot. Everybody’s is different and this is an odd brand that my mom had and never used. From 1 gallon of milk I got 5.5 pints of yogurt. Its so good! And EASY!

Drum roll! 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 stand out winner is the sour cream starter over the lemon or vinegar! So i will save a bit of this and keep it going like a sourdough starter, basically. No more store bought sour cream here!

Raw milk. What all can we make from 2 gallons? Today it’s clabber and sour cream. I’m very interested in the sour cream because I’ve never tried it. Will let them sit overnight for 24 hours and then we’ll taste it and see how it is. We won’t know unless we try right? At the end of the video it cut out sorry you’re supposed to just gently mix this add-ins to the milk, but don’t shake it hard and put your breathable toppers on. Let it sit overnight.

I can’t believe it, but it really taste like takeout fried rice! I can cook so many other things, but I cannot cook Chinese food. I really haven’t tried either though. So I started paying attention and this is what I came up with: cook your eggs in 2 tablespoons of oil. I always add more eggs because I’m not adding any other meat. Remove them from your wok or pan. One diced onion cooked in 2 tablespoons of oil. Then add your rice back in to your Wok or pan. For every 2 cups of rice add 2 tablespoons of white wine. Mix it up and let it cook off the alcohol. Then add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce per 2 cups of cooked rice, and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce per 2 cups of cooked rice. You may want to add a little more. Once that’s all mixed add in your vegetables. I like mixed vegetables, but we did just plain peas and carrots, add what you like! Then finish it off with some sesame oil. It really only takes 20 minutes to get this all together and ready to eat. You can add some green onions on the top or make it fancy or make it not fancy and just eat it as it’s. I hope you like it. Our neighbor Steve came in to till my garden. I still have to get a bunch more tomatoes from the neighbors. I found these beauties at May Mart this past weekend. You don’t need to start a garden as big as mine. Just start. One or two plants. Go from there. It can only help!
