The Case of the Escaped Chicken 🕵️

I was attending to the chickens today when I noticed one was wondering around in the tall grass having a lovely afternoon stroll!

Turns out the chicken did a little digging and escaped under the chicken tractor! It tried to return when it was spotted but couldn’t quite fit.

The chicken is now safely back in the tractor!

Congrats to Heather Kohler and everyone at Gateway. 👏 Their auction house in Chambersburg, Pa is top-notch, and we were proud to attend their ribbon cutting celebration hosted in partnership with the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance. 🎉

This weekend we moved approx. 100 birds from the brooder to the outdoor mobile chicken coops!

There aren’t many jobs the ol’ Ford Ranger can’t handle around the farm. 🛻

These are Cornish Cross meat chickens that will be on pasture for the next few weeks.
