Today we are celebrating the second anniversary of the arrival of our first egg-laying hens at Blue Springs! On Nov. 14, 2022, 170,000 egg-laying hens arrived at Blue Springs. Today, the sustainable, cage-free egg-laying facility operated by Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch cares for 1.2 million hens that produce high-quality, nutritious eggs!

Happy 2nd anniversary Blue Springs! 🎉🐔🥚 This week we celebrate the growth of our cage-free, egg-laying facility Blue Springs Egg Farm, in Mercersburg, PA which began operations in 2022. Since then, 1.2 million egg-laying hens have produced eggs, and 210 people have been hired for good-paying jobs supplying eggs to the northeast US.
