Check out Sweet Jane’s Sips & Treats. We would love to show drinks from today’s visit but the farm crew finished them before we made it out the door. (They were that good!) It’s quickly become one of our favorite places to stop for a treat! The drinks are delicious, and it’s a fun spot to cool off and enjoy something different.

What a great day at the Dairy Goat Show!

We’re proud of both girls for their outstanding showmanship results in their classes.

Showing dairy goats is about much more than winning ribbons. Every class evaluates years of breeding decisions, genetics, structure, and herd improvement. The judge’s comments help shape future breeding choices and teach valuable lessons that make each generation better. We are so proud of the girls and the goats the showed today.

Fair week is one of our favorite times of the year!

The barns are filling up, the animals are settled into their pens, and we’re excited for the fair to kick off tomorrow! The kids have been hard at work all week getting everything ready. The last few days have been filled with clipping, washing, setting up pens, and making sure everything is looking its best. They’ve also entered several exhibits and are excited to share all the hard work they’ve put in over the past year.

If you’re looking for something to do this week, come out to the Washington County Ag Expo & Fair! We’d love to see some familiar faces. Stop by, say hello, and take some time to visit the barns and support the amazing young exhibitors who represent the future of local agriculture.

There’s something special about watching a newborn beef calf take its first steps on green grass with Mom close by. Fresh air, open pasture, and a watchful mama make for a pretty great start to life.
