Lola’s Family Kitchen absolutely nailed these cookies. 🍪

The Houston, We Have a Cookie! Cosmic Brownie Cookie is basically childhood nostalgia after a very successful promotion. Rich chocolate, sprinkles, walnuts, sea salt, and enough personality to make a regular cookie feel like it forgot the dress code.

The OG keeps it classic: thick, chewy, buttery, packed with chocolate and walnuts, with just enough sea salt to make “I’ll save half for later” a completely fictional statement.

Both tasted homemade in the best possible way, and the portions are generous enough that sharing is technically possible. Whether you should is another matter.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and order from Lola’s Family Kitchen. These are not “maybe I’ll try them sometime” cookies. These are place-the-order-and-thank-yourself-later cookies.

10/10. Absolutely worth the bite. 🍪🔥

🐾 Worth a Bite… but this one’s for the DOGS! 🐾

While checking out the Meridian Sunday Market, Analicia and I found Barks-A-Lot Treats & More, a local small business making all-natural dog treats — and of course we couldn’t go home empty handed. 😂🐶

We grabbed some of their Chicken Jerky plus a bucket of homemade biscuits, and our crew was VERY interested the second the bags came out. 👀

The chicken jerky especially caught our attention — it’s made with locally sourced chicken breast, with no giant ingredient list full of stuff you can’t pronounce. Just a simple treat for the pups. ❤️

This is exactly why we love hitting the local markets. You find awesome food for yourself AND small businesses making cool stuff for your four-legged family members.

If you see Barks-A-Lot Treats & More around the Treasure Valley, go show them some love!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Barks-A-Lot Treats & More — Luna Approved! 🐾

One of our favorite finds from the Sunday market this weekend was Barks-A-Lot Treats & More, and of course we had to bring some home for the doxies to officially test. 😂

We picked up their Chicken Jerky along with a container of their all-natural dog treats, and Luna wasted absolutely no time volunteering as quality control.

What really impressed us was the ingredient list on the chicken jerky: Chicken Breast. That’s it. No weird fillers, no unnecessary ingredients, and the meat is locally sourced. The jerky is also incredibly high in protein, which makes it a treat we actually feel good about giving the dogs.

And judging by Luna’s reaction… the taste test was a very easy 10/10. 😂 She was locked onto that treat like nothing else in the world existed.

We love finding small businesses like this because you’re not only getting a product made with care, you’re also supporting real people in the community who are passionate about what they do.

If you have a dog and you spot Barks-A-Lot Treats & More at a local market, definitely stop by and check them out.

🚨 SECOND TRIP TO HUMBLE FOOD TRUCK — AND YES, IT’S STILL ONE OF OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITES. 🚨

Our first Humble reel ended up becoming our most-viewed reel ever, so when Analicia and I spotted Walter and Humble Food Truck at the Sunday Market at Storey Park in Meridian, there was no chance we were walking past. 😂

Walter is one of those people who makes you want to root for the business just as much as the food. You can tell there’s real pride behind what comes out of that truck, and the portions are anything but humble.

This time we grabbed:

🔥 The Reuben — stacked ridiculously high with meat, grilled bread, and absolutely zero attempt at being polite or delicate. This thing is a MONSTER.

🔥 One of Walter’s beefy, loaded grilled sandwiches — tender, juicy meat absolutely spilling out of the bread. The kind of sandwich where you stop talking after the first bite because you’re too busy enjoying it.

🥗 And something NEW since our last visit: SIDE SALADS.

Do not overlook these.

Fresh greens, chicken, corn, black beans, cheese and a killer dressing — they were seriously incredible. Definitely not some sad little afterthought. These were loaded, flavorful and good enough that we’d order them again on purpose.

That’s what we love about Humble. Walter isn’t just serving big sandwiches — he’s putting out food that feels like somebody actually cares whether you enjoy it.

If you’re ever at the Sunday Market at Storey Park in Meridian and see Humble Food Truck, GO SEE WALTER.

And Walter… keep doing exactly what you’re doing. We’ll be back. 👏🔥

⭐️ Worth the Bite: ABSOLUTELY.
⭐️ Would we go back: We already did. 😂

Sunday Meridian Market at Storey Park haul = SUCCESS. 🙌🐾🍰🥩

We had such a great time wandering the market this weekend and came home with an awesome mix of goodies from some seriously talented local vendors.

We picked up Chicken Jerky and treats from Barks-A-Lot Treats & More, some incredible Black Pepper jerky from Idaho Prep Co., a huge homemade brownie, and a carrot cake that somehow manages to be free from gluten, dairy, corn, soy, wheat and seed oils… yet still looks ridiculously good. 😂

This is exactly why we love markets like this. You get to meet the people actually making the products, discover businesses you may have never known existed, and spend your money directly with families and small businesses right here in our community.

Support local. Eat local. Shop local. ❤️

We’ll definitely be back — and now comes the hard part… deciding what to eat first. 😂

Bentham’s Table — and this was absolutely Worth the Bite.

Fresh sourdough Neapolitan-style pizza, wine, and a beautiful Idaho evening is a pretty hard combination to beat. 😍 The menu had everything from a classic Margherita to their spicy Margherita con Salsiccia Piccante with local Ansots chorizo and hot honey, plus La Mortazza with pistachio-basil pesto, mortadella and stracciatella. 🤌

If you see Bentham’s Table popping up for another Pizza Night, definitely give them a try.
