It was a stronger week at Meridian with 223 head sold and higher prices across the board. Lighter steers were $10–15 higher, while lighter heifers were $10–20 higher. Most other cattle traded $5–15 higher.

A small group of replacement quality heifers topped the market, averaging 531 pounds and bringing $4.57/lb. Slaughter cows were mostly steady, and packer bulls remained active on a limited supply.

Sold 281 head and some received over 2 inches of rain in the area. Calves traded on a $10-15 lower market, slaughter cows were $1-2 lower, packer bulls held steady, and the cow-calf pair market had to few to test.
