Space age tall bearded seedling under consideration for a 2027 introduction. Tall but very sturdy at 38" (did not go down in 60+ mph gusts), 9 to 11 buds per stalk, great form, very ruffled, thick petal substance, sweet scent and short little horns. Not white, more of a cream color with a faint flush of pink up the standards. Very elegant and attention grabbing even though it is in the pastel range.

Late blooming tall bearded seedling of First Class X Pastel Lace. Extremely thick substance, heavy ruffling, heavy lacing and a pleasant sweet but subtle scent. Petals are like rubber and it is much more ruffled and laced than the picture shows. Kind of what would be expected by the cross but a little pinker than either parent. It is a little cooked due to hot temps so I am expecting a bit better form after it settles in a bit and opens in cooler temps. First Class seems to be giving pink seedlings. First year bloom so it just gets a blue flag but It is pretty nice in person.

Tall bearded seedling under consideration for 2027. Very much not in my wheel house but it is interesting in a different kind of way. Definitely gives off a green vibe with very crisp white standards and a bright pop of orange from the beards. 7 to 9 buds per stalk with strong growth and bloom, thick substance to the petals and a sweet scent. Input needed on this one, might be a love it or hate it iris?

Tall bearded reblooming seedling under consideration for a 2027 introduction. 36", 9+ buds per sturdy stalk, pleasant sweet scent, great color, strong growth and bloom habits plus rebloom in early sept. here in our Idaho gardens. The white area below the beards varies in size and shape on each individual flower as does the white on the standards, there can even be a white edge to the very top of the standards... makes each bloom unique.

Tall bearded seedling that will be introduced (available) in 2027. 9 to 11 buds, 37" stalks that had no problem with the 60mph gusts a couple of days ago. Great pattern, conrast and color with excellent rounded form and appropriate ruffling, thick substance to the flower petals and a strong sweet fragrance. this was a nice cross as it's sibling will be introduced in 2028. seedling AH-107-C

We are at the yay or nay time of year. TB seedling under consideration for intoduction. 38" sturdy stalks with 9+ buds per, strong growth and bloom habits, great candy shop scent and warm coloring. We had another wind event yesterday, 60mph gusts from the west that turned around and came from the east 10 minutes later. All seedlings under consideration for 2027, including this one, withstood the winds with no issues. Intro or no?

We forgot to activate a few varieties on the website but now they are good. This is one that was left off originally......

We forgot to activate a few varieties on the website but now they are good. This is one that was left off originally...TB Lemon Bubbly, obviously a very strong grower and bloomer and a nicely formed and lacy yellow. Probably the toughest bloom season we have endured due to freezing temps, then very strong winds and 90 degree + temps. Some iris did better than others, Lemon Bubbly was one of the strong ones. Decadence was also another great performer and also one we forgot to activate.

Cool luminata Border beard seedling out of Cowboy Coffee. Intense colors (photo doesn't do it justice) with a bright orange glow in the throat. Proportionate flowers and foliage with 24" stalks and 7 buds per, nice warm sweet vanilla scent. This is a definite need-to-see-in-person iris to really get the true effect

Anton Mego seedling AM-17/7548-11.. Quite possibly the most ruffled iris I have seen, even more ruffled than the photo shows. Sometimes with heavy ruffling the flower has trouble opening, not an issue with this one. Very thick substance with a pleasant sweet scent, excellent stalks with 7 buds per, looking at a 2028 intro. Color is a bit darker than this picture...

Shelby's (office manager and daughter) favorite color in iris is blue. We have definitely not been working too much in that color class over the past few decades so a few years ago we started to ramp up our blue crosses. This is one of Shelby's blue seedlings...Large ruffly flowers with thick substance, 9 buds per 38" tall but very sturdy stalks. Great sweet scent too. Not the greatest picture of it but the color is good on my monitor. Going into the fast track to introduction beds.
