So a few years ago two of our 2018 intros Dual Function and Recharge had their field signs switched...not really sure why or how but they are straightened out now. Both are rebloomers both have strong reverse burst patterns with Recharge's reverse burst extending to near the edge of the falls, Dual Function's is more confined to around the beard. A few customers have asked for identification and in the process have sent photos. This image from Erin is so much better than our image of "Dual Function" that we requested permission to use it online and in our catalog. Coral Passion is still at it, rebloom shot of it just opening this morning (I pushed the last fall down to get the photo). Decided to throw this in the warmer climate rebloom package next season. It has a pleasant spicy sweet scent and very nice purple based foliage......it's also a good parent for form and ruffling in the pink, yellow and burst categories

Starting to work on names for the 2027 introductions. This is 2027 standard dwarf introduction "Waffles". Not sure why it reminds me of waffles but it does so that's its name. 4 to 5 buds per stalk, very nice form and ruffling with a kind of toasty color touched by purple up the mid ribs and faint purple dotting, nice sweet candy like scent. Pleasing but not overly bright coloring.

Tall bearded "Inside Out" reblooming today. Always one of my favorite older intros and in my opinion, quite overlooked as we didn't have good distribution on it. Strong grower and bloomer with pleasing colors, good form and a fun pattern on the falls

Ruby Fusion reblooming today, several more coming. Faithful rebloomer for us but usually the first part of Sept. Had a stalk of it rebloom in July but it was a bit bug eaten by the time it opened, this one has fared better. Great to have so much color in 100 degree heat!

Catching up on the orders after the smoke. Pretty much everything has either been shipped or will be shipped over this and next week.
After the iris are dug they are loaded upside down into flower crates and run through our wash system....they are then dried for 24 hours under fans. Not the most high-tech system you will see but it works. Each crate holds about 50 iris if they are all TBs, more if they are a mix of TBs and medians.

Tall bearded "Debutante's Lace" reblooming today. We had a little rain overnight which helped get rid of most of he smoke, first time the sky has been blue for a while! Felt very fall like today alhough that is just a temporary illusion.
