Happy National Farmers Day!

One of our favorite things about working with dairy farmers is hearing their stories.

Some grew up on the same farms they’re running today. Others are the third, fourth, or even fifth generation to carry on what their families started.

And while every farm has its own story, they all share something pretty special. They’re helping feed families across the country, including their own.

We’re lucky to know so many incredible farmers and even luckier to help tell their stories.

Here’s to the people behind the dairy in our fridges.🥛🥛

Meet Saydee Carter!🐄👑

From growing up on her family’s farm, Circle C Dairy in Genola, Utah, to representing agriculture as Miss AgHERculture Utah, Saydee is proud of her dairy roots.

As a fourth generation at Dairy Farmer, she knows firsthand the joys, challenges, and dedication that come with farm life. Now, she’s using her platform to share her story and advocate for the hard-working people behind our food.

What a year for the Dairy West Ice Cream Festival!🍦

Thousands of scoops, an incredible turnout and a whole lot of love for local dairy. A huge thank you to the local ice cream makers who made it possible: Aggie Ice Cream, BYU Creamery, Farr Better Ice Cream, The Original Creamies, Rancho/Heladita, and The Creamery!

And of course, it wouldn’t be the Utah State Fair without the iconic Butter Cow! This year’s sculpture celebrated the Fair’s 170th anniversary and was made with hundreds of pounds of butter.🧈

More importantly, every five dollar admission went directly to the Utah Food bank. Thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed a scoop and helped make this year‘s festival such a success!
