We are an e-commerce startup powering online delivery for farmers’ markets that fill orders out of distribution hubs all over the U.S. If you have a passion for locally grown and produced food, we are the tech-enabled local shopping and delivery service that is meeting today's increasing demand for local food.
Each of our hubs serves up to 2 million residents and provides a direct channel for local farmers and food artisans to market and distribute their products online to the residents in their area.
Summary of the Position:
Market Wagon is looking for a Line Haul Delivery Driver with a good driving record enjoys driving, and who has a passion for locally grown food.
Lina Haul Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and pick up products in multiple locations
• Transport products and customer orders
• The initial pickup takes place in Brooklyn, WI at 6 am.
• Deliveries will be done in a company vehicle
• This is one day a week and the day will probably end around 5 pm.
Line Haul Delivery Driver Characteristics:
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
• Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded
• Proactive approach to resolving problems and issues
This is a one-day-a-week role. This person will be driving a corporate vehicle and will need to be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record. You will be paid $12 an hour plus tips which average $40-$50 per day. This job averages ~17 per hour. Gas will be provided for the vehicle
