This beautiful, chilly morning reminds me of fall. This is our last Saturday Morning Farmers Market in Wausau for the season. We’re here until noon today, if you miss us join us at the farm when we open Saturday, September 5th!

So many of you have watched our children grow up at the orchard. Our oldest daughter, Meagahn, married the love of her life this past Friday. The day was filled with love, tears, and unforgettable surprises.

Our son-in-law, Will—always thoughtful and caring—surprised everyone by playing “Annie’s Song” on the cello. It’s a song that holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s a song all my children grew up hearing on the record player at Grandma & Papa’s house. Though Grandma has passed away, she was there in spirit, as Meagahn was able to dance with Papa while Will played that beautiful melody.

Truly a moment to remember, filled with love, nostalgia, and the magic of family bonds. We feel so blessed to have shared this day with loved ones old and new. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Kennedy!

We wanted to share some heartfelt news—our oldest daughter, Meagahn, is getting married! As she steps into this exciting new chapter of her life, we will be taking a day off from the farmers market to celebrate this special milestone with her and our family.

Many of you have watched her grow up right here, and it’s truly a bittersweet moment for us. We are so proud of the incredible young woman she has become and feel grateful for the support and community we've shared through the years.

Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the next market, refreshed and ready to serve up more deliciousness!

Last Thursday night marked a special evening at our Thursday Night Sunset Dinner, as we hosted Chef Travis Teska for his final dinner with us. It was an unforgettable night filled with delicious food, and wonderful memories. We're grateful for Chef Travis's talent and dedication, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors as a culinary instructor at the Culinary Institute of America in Greystone CA.
