Our current state of pumpkin affairs ⬇️

We had a pretty good wind storm blow through last week and it destroyed all plants that had any true leaves out and injured any that were forming in the growing point. From the looks of it, most of the plants are on the mend and thankfully most of the cotyledon leaves made it through unscathed because those are now putting in overtime to nurse the plants back to good health. Diligence and resilience are both critical when trying to grow a crop (there’s more to think about in that phrase if you look at it from the perspective of eternity)

Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances, we will no longer be at the Breckenridge Farmer’s Market today.. I’m hoping we can make it next week to make up for today.

It was a great night to harvest some strawberries 🍓 Thankful for the nice breeze after these warmer days!

The girls sure got their fair share while picking and brother just hung out as happy as can be 💙

I pray these are the types of nights our kiddos remember!

Decided to try something new tonight, let me know what you guys think, I’m calling it “Tractor Thoughts, with Tyler”. This one is kind of long, but they won’t always be. The idea is to share some of the thoughts I have about life, faith, funny things, dumb things,etc. while I’m out working and share them with you guys in hopes it will bring encouragement, a laugh, or maybe some “how to” for you guys to chew on. The plan is to bring some flavors of a lot of the things that I enjoyed growing up that still stick with me today: a little humorous wisdom from Red Green, some good clean “manly” fun like Tim Taylor, Mr. Rodger’s friendship and stuff I’ve learned from my Dad (the pastor and the farmer).
If you like it or don’t, let me know. I haven’t committed to it too hard yet, but if people enjoy it, I’ll keep it consistent, if not, I’ll do it less frequently.

Preorders for Wednesday June 17th are officially OPEN!!

-Roadside stand: Wednesday Noon-dark
-Breckenridge Farmer’s Market: Wed 2-6pm

Preorders will only be open until Saturday at 11:59pm so I can do my ingredient shopping.

If you don’t want to preorder, you can always come see the kids and I at the market to grab some goodies! *Menu will differ slightly as I hope to offer more than just sourdough!

🥚 Eggs are also available through our website, please place an order and pick a day for pick-up! You will receive an email when ready in the stand.

A little (or big) sourdough update 🥖

Our menu and PREORDERS will go live tomorrow morning at 10am for next week, Wednesday June 17th pick up!

With preorders, you will have the option to pick-up at our roadside stand or at the Breckenridge Farmer’s Market.

I will of course have bread available at the Farmer’s Market if you don’t preorder! I will also have other baked goods that will only be available at the market!

I’m easing back into this with 4 kiddos now so I’m planning to do preorders/farmers market biweekly for right now, we might get back to weekly, we shall see!
