Happy Fernie Friday, featuring our feline Korra! Fern typically doesn’t like to cuddle with Korra, but she’s been known to tolerate Korra’s presence when naps and a soft blankie are involved 😻

I got to meet a pair of five-day-old goats today! Vera (white & black) and Venus (brown & black) live on my friend’s farm and they are so sweet and adorable and soft and I LOVE THEM.

It’s Fernie Friday! Every week I’m dedicating a day to our sweet Fern—it’s her farm, after all. Fern (aka Fernie Pants) is a rescue cattle dog adopted in south Texas. She is truly the BEST girl—loving, loyal, smart, and incredibly chill for her breed. She’s lived in three states and five houses with us, but the farm is definitely her favorite. She loves going for sniff walks around the field and in the woods. She’s doing great with the goats—the herding instinct is strong, but her attentiveness to me and my pocket treats is stronger! Fern is the heart of this farm and the perfect little farm dog ❤️

Soon the goats will spend their days foraging on green leaves and fresh plants, but for now they have to settle for spruce boughs. Spring growth is so close we can almost taste it! 🌱
