One of my favorite setups we’ve done for 🥹🫶🏽
But what nobody saw behind this setup was:
• I was running almost 30 minutes behind while a long line of hungry moms were waiting
• I forgot my gluten free and dairy free labels, and Sarah from hand wrote labels for me at the last minute
• and .hall12 jumped in to help assemble avocado toast because I completely underestimated setup time from start to finish
• I once again failed to account for elevator trips, floor trips, unloading, reloading and all the tiny details that somehow add so much extra time 😂
One thing this setup taught me is that beautiful events are not just about creativity. They’re about logistics, prep, timing, systems, teamwork and learning to accept help when you need it.
As a growing business owner, I’m learning that the little operational details matter just as much as the final aesthetic. Build in more buffer time. Prep more than you think you need to. Delegate sooner. And never underestimate the time it takes to go up and down elevators 47 times 😂
The crazy part is, even with all the chaos behind the scenes, these always end up becoming some of my favorite setups.
