The story of CHEESE E WAGON aka Chew Philly Food Truck is built on passion, hard work, and authentic Philadelphia flavor. 🧀🔥
The real owner of CHEESE E WAGON started his culinary journey in South Philadelphia, where his love for cooking began with something simple; legendary grilled cheese sandwiches that people couldn’t stop craving.Before bringing his flavors to the food truck world, he worked as an Executive Chef for the University of Pennsylvania Dining Services and also served as a Chef at Wachovia Stadium, sharing his talent with thousands of people in Philadelphia.
He later became owner of the famous 709 West Cafe in Jekintown, PA, continuing his dream of serving great food made with heart, Even when he lost everything he had, he never lost hope and kept fighting to rise again
Then came the creation of Cheese E Wagon — also known today as CHEW PHILLY FOODTRUCK; bringing authentic Philly cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, and East Coast flavors to food lovers everywhere since 2011.Today, the food truck is proudly operated by him and his wife. Due to multiple back surgeries, he sometimes steps back from daily operations, but his passion, recipes, and Philly spirit continue living through every sandwich served.Even FOX 29 Philadelphia’s Alex Holley and others anchors recognized the amazing food and authentic Philly taste!
