We came out to a home with a leak on the main water line right next to the hose bib. We tracked down the problem, opened up the area, made the repair, and got their water line back where it should be.

Under every toilet is a toilet fl**ge the ring that connects the toilet to the drain and gives it a solid mounting point to the floor.

Over time, that fl**ge can get rusted, corroded, cracked, or damaged. And when it does, you may start noticing:

🔧 A toilet that rocks or moves
💧 Water showing up around the base
👃 Sewer smells that weren’t there before
⚠️ A wax ring that keeps failing

This one had definitely seen better days, so out came the old corroded fl**ge and in went a clean, properly secured replacement before the toilet went back down.

Summer schedules are winding down, vacations are wrapping up, and suddenly everybody in the house needs the bathroom at the exact same time again.

Your main water line is what carries fresh water from the meter into your home

When that line starts leaking you may notice low water pressure an unexplained increase in your water bill wet spots in the yard or water collecting near the foundation

On this job we replaced the main water line feeding the house along with the hose bib connected to it

A leaking hose bib may look like a small problem but if the pipe or connection behind it is damaged the leak can continue underground where it’s harder to see

After installing the new line and hose bib we restored the water and tested everything to make sure the system was holding pressure with no leaks

Knowing the early warning signs can help you catch a main line problem before it causes higher water bills or damage around the home
