Perrone & Sons, Inc. is a Gourmet food wholesaler that supplies both Restaurants and Grocery stores in the Greater New Orleans Metro area. Perrone and Sons, Inc.

originally started in 1924 as Progress Grocery. Founded by Bartholomew Perrone as he entered the United States in New Orleans with cousins and began an "imported" food local grocery store. The cousins split into two different groceries in the French Quarter and the rest is history. The muffuletta sandwich was created by local merchants from the French Quarter that visited Central Grocery and Progr

ess Grocery. Today, the Perrone family and the Tusa family remain friends and support one another in their business ventures. Through the years the grocery evolved from supplying Italian Americans, to tourist goods and foods, and finally went strictly wholesale as Perrone and Sons. Now our famous muffuletta sandwiches, our stuffed artichokes, and other delicacies can be found in local and metropolitan grocery stores, delis, and more importantly, in the finer restaurants in the New Orleans area. We import only the finest cheeses, olive oils, vinegars, spices and anything a finer restaurant would need. Now in our 4th generation with the 5th generation ready to grow into the business, we hope you enjoy our many products.

What an incredible way to celebrate 10 years of bringing our customers, vendors, and food industry partners together! This year’s show was one for the books, with a fantastic turnout, countless samples, lots of prizes, and four amazing chef demonstrations throughout the day. 👨‍🍳🍴

Most importantly, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our customers and vendors. Your continued support, partnership, and enthusiasm are what make this event possible year after year. We truly couldn’t do it without you!
