Siena Hills Farm We are a new family hobby farm based in Metamora, MI area. Possibly some bigger plans down the road. For now just sharing our journey with friends and family.

Big milestone on the barn. All 300 10” boards are now up. Now I pivot to the trim and the battens. Only 300 pieces of wood left to cut, stain and nail up. 🤪

Progress update on the barn. Garage door 1is finally done with 38 boards all mitered tight and in place. Love how it turned out. Still have to add the trim and battens. Staining 38 boards for the next garage door today.

How I load my logs onto the mill and do some delicate placement adjustments. Doesn’t look like it from this angle but this was a huge 18 foot log. Milled beautifully.

Goldie Field is becoming a reality. Goldie has done an amazing job and she’s never used any of this equipment before this week. I’m buried in equipment barn construction for another 2 months as I race to get done before cold and snow.

Making progress with the upper gable at 22 feet. These boom lifts are pretty fun to use once you get use to a bit of swaying every time you move it. All of the boards, trim, battens and caulking will be on with both gables by the end of day today.

New stage of the board & batten siding project - time to start cutting battens. Still a lot of boards to put up but getting g barrens ready for next week. Fun to be in the wood shop today.

When you can’t find the feral grandsons…look in the hayloft. 4 and 8! All of a sudden the oldest one developed a thick southern accent. Must be the hay! 🤣

Starting to come together on the board and batten siding for the new Equipment Barn. This side of the barn still needs all of the trim and then the battens.
