We’re excited to introduce our newest “employee” in the role of Apprentice Herd Coordinator… Grady the Border Collie! Now 2 years old, Grady has come a long way from his shy beginnings and has confidently stepped into farm life—these days, he’s even taken it upon himself to oversee our maple syrup operation. We’re pretty sure he thinks he runs the place now. Thanks to Winding Creek Farms for our second well-trained Border Collie!!

In other farm news, Beatrice—our fall 2025 bottle baby—continues to keep us laughing. She still firmly believes she’s a dog and can often be found enjoying dog food right alongside her pack mates, Elvis and Dixie. Some things never change!

We also have three current bottle babies keeping us on our toes: twins Thelma and Louise, along with their buddy JD. There’s never a dull moment around here with this crew.

We’re gearing up for our final boil of the season before we wrap up maple syrup production for the year. Then it’s full steam ahead as we shift our focus to preparing for our much-anticipated Anders Clan reunion here at the farm this July—we can’t wait!

Oh and between snow, ice, and a few too many downed trees, we’ve also spent a good bit of time repairing fences and keeping the farm buttoned up—just another part of winter life around here.

Thanks for following along. Farm life keeps us busy, but we love sharing these moments with you. 🍁❄️🐾🐑
