What a great weekend spent showing off the rabbits Iāve been breeding and hanging out with some amazing people. We had some BOVās and a BOSB in show B yesterday. Today I only took Ida Mae and Half Stache (both broken chocolate otter sisters) and half just managed to come in second to Jessās gorgeous doe. The most important thing that I gained this weekend is all the positive comments on the rabbits I took to show. I bred them all and even tho theyāre only 1st generation and I have goals of seeing only my Rabbitry on a pedigree I am beyond thrilled with how my juniors are doing. I have 6 litters coming over the next couple weeks with at least one being 2nd generation MJK. I donated 2 bucks (they were won by a 4Hāer) and a senior doe that was won by another exhibitor that I met later in the show weekend and sold her a self chocolate buck. I also sold a pair to a young lady in NH (I think) that went on transport and the last chocolate buck to my friend Krista who named him Ferrero ā¤ļø. I got to talk to some of the youth exhibitors as they found the 3d printed rabbit and cavy figures I placed around the venue. I had a great weekend and will see you all at the next show Iām brave enough to venture out to. Until then keep pushing, breed hard, cull harder and enjoy your progress which may look different than someone elseās but thatās ok. Pic for attention.
