OG hauling hay
Hauling hay with the OG farm truck years ago, she definitely earned her keep!
The farm truck then vs. the farm truck now, oh how far we've come
Coming soon to a field near you
Today's warmer weather has me dreaming about hay season, we're almost there😀
For anyone who was guessing or wondering about why I was marking trees yesterday, here's a hint. Where the square goes into the woods is roughly where I marked the trees.
Gold star for anyone who can guess why im marking trees in the woods. Hint: they aren't being cut!
Before and after putting cleats on the big barn doors at grams!
You'll have to forgive me for the low quality pic lol, but I was driving to town and thought im gonna take a picture and keep it so I can show it to the hay boys when they complain that its too hot out😂😂
Transformation of the east bay of my grandmothers barn this year! We moved all the bales that held together to the west bay, took over 20 6×10x4 dump trailer loads of loose hay and broken bales out to be burned, put down pallets and put in a little over 500 bales of fresh hay! It was a long process, some of the broken bales were from all the way back in the early 2000s but im very pleased with how it turned out and am thankful to have the extra space to store hay!
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I hope everyone has a fun and safe day! Now let's watch some football🏈
Remember how I said I had a big surprise?
Mowing in the rain!
If anybody ever asks me again why we love our gravel land so much, we got 3 inches of rain and the ground was still as hard as can be. No ruts, no water wholes.
Gonna have a big surprise for everyone within the next week. Can't wait to show you all what I did today! Stay tuned!
Not gonna leave the fields till winter forces us out!
HALSEY HAY at the oswego county fairgrounds! So proud to have the opportunity to work with the fairground committee!!
The night shift never disappoints
The kuhn mower hits the road and our new toy arrives! Very happy to have a green mower again!
This'll be the last picture you'll ever see of one of these two machines! Don't worry, ill tell you which one in just a few days😉
The 311 is dialed in and performing like a new 5070 today punching out 630 bales in just a touch over 2 hours! Maybe we don't have to upgrade just yet🤔
Man yesterday was a long day! Got a ton accomplished and got some really nice hay baled up. Now it doesn't stop till September!
Well in case you couldn't tell from yesterday's post we have officially started first cut for 2021! Here's some pics I took today while tedding!
And so it begins
After this ill be annoyed with anything under 400 bushel an acre on our sweet corn
Rented this toy last week to help some neighbors clear an old pasture plus before and after of one of our headrows we're taking out!
We did pretty well in hay sales this past winter so we decided to put some of the money back into the ground via fertilizer!
Rebuilding a wagon: before, after day one, after day two, and finished!
Today's project: Rescue a running gear that has a totaled out chopper box on it
Anybody else missing days like this right now? Just me? Ok

Check out our new video below where I get the 311 out to make sure my fixes acting fixed anything!
in this video you see as I test out our 311 small square baler that I recently fixed after a breakdown ended its year at the end of the 2020 season. Ever won...
In the summer I break stuff, and in the winter when its too cold to think I fix it. When will I learn?
Does your hay provider bring an elevator to fill your loft? We do ;)
