Heritage 10 Whitetails Dr. Randy Froehlich along with his wife, Kim began raising whitetail deer in 2001. In 2000 a series of events would happen that would change our lives.

Kim, my wife, and I bought a herd of deer from the widow of a friend. We thought raising deer would be an interesting hobby,so we built pens, got a license, and moved the deer in early 2001. We went to the NADEFA and TDA conventions in 2001 and began seeing raising deer was more than a hobby to some. It soon became more than a hobby to us also. Three years of my veterinary career were spent in rep

roduction only practice, so as artificial insemination with frozen semen became more popular in the deer business my interest soared. Our goal has always been producing heavy, wide, long tined deer mostly typical but with some extras.

It’s amazing how Whitetail deer are considered “wild” animals, even the ones bred in captive. However these animals learn their caretakers and are always right there to put a smile when needed! G6103 is always a girl to say “hey, I love ya - now give me my yum yums” 😂😂😂

Heritage 10 Whitetails is excited to say we are seeing our 1 year old boys start dropping their antlers! Why are we excited, because that means they are gearing up to start growing their 2 year old horns! We can not wait to see how these boys grow out!

Also baby bumps are starting to show on our natural bred AND our AI does! We AI’d 31 does this year and are excited to see what fawning season will be bringing us!

We will have new genetics on the ranch and will be posting more and more pics of the ventures of Heritage 10 Whitetails - 20 years and still going strong!

Heritage 10 has been quite busy the last couple weeks! Stocker bucks have been sent to their new ranches, all does and fawns have been worked thru the barn in preparation for weaning in a few weeks, and even our breeder bucks have been showing they are excited about the upcoming breeding season!

Meet H10 Troop - 4 year old buck who will be in our breeding pens again this year! This boy is just gorgeous and he throws his large, northern build to his offspring and his 1 year old bucks are showing amazing promise!!!! Picture taken today when worked. Troop measured out at 288 and some change!!!
