This bottle belongs to the first production batch, with an ABV of 57% (114 proof).

Matured for a minimum of 2 years in ex-Woodford Reserve barrels and then another 2+ years in ex-Oloroso Sherry barrels, from Jerez, Spain.

.io Master Rummelier 🥃

Born in Venezuela, but now living in Miami, Ramón Almao is a Materials Engineer with Master’s Degree in both Applied Sciences in Pulp and Paper, and Integrated Management Systems for Quality, Environment and Occupational Risk Prevention.

After 30 years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry, in 2018 he decided to give purpose, content and criteria to a lifelong passion by taking a diploma of Rum and Spirits from the International Center for Professional Updating of the Andrés Bello Catholic University (CIAP-UCAB), graduating as Ronmelier with meritorious qualification.

As a result of this training, his curiosity and enthusiasm for chocolate and ci**rs, began with pairings.

Later on, in 2019 he approved the World of Wine: From the Grape to the Glass course at the University of Adelaide, Australia.

In 2020 he approved the Junior Course of Habanos SA, and in July 2021 completed the Cigar Sommelier Program in the International Association of Ci**rs Sommelier.

In 2022 approved four whisky related courses in the Edinburgh Whisky Academy and in 2023 approved Level 1 Awards in Wines and Spirits.

In February 2024 he completed the Master Rummelier with the Royal Rum Society.

Together with his wife, through his entrepreneurship he develops wellness events featuring spirit tastings paired with international gastronomy, including chocolate and ci**rs.
