Here’s how it comes together:
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cooked lentils
- 1 small onion, chopped

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
2. Mash the chickpeas in a large bowl.
3. Add lentils, onion, garlic, spices, and soy sauce. Mix well.
4. Stir in breadcrumbs until the mixture holds together.
5. Shape into sausage links or patties.
