Miami Food Tours is HIRING!!! Do you love Miami? Do you love food? Can you command a crowd, make them laugh, and have everyone literally eating out the palm of your hand? If so, then this job is for you!
Miami Food Tours which offers food tours of Miami’s tastiest neighborhoods, is seeking passionate, highly energetic, and empathetic people as Tour Guides. Positions are part-time and/or on-call. Applicants must possess strong leadership abilities, charisma, a wonderful sense of humor, excellent communication skills and a deep passion for Miami and its food. Leading a food tour is a combination of quick thinking on our feet, advanced storytelling, and herding cattle from one location to the next. We provide you with all the training and get you up to speed on your missing knowledge of Miami history and its incredible foods. Once you’re up and leading a food tour, you’ll be amazed that you’re getting paid handsomely for something so ridiculously fun and rewarding. WHAT TO KNOW:
Only applicants living close to/in Miami Beach/Little Havana area will be considered. Self-employed individuals and/or flexible schedules preferred. Must be available to lead tours between November 1st and June 30th. A combination of part-weekly, and/or weekend positions are available. Tours are up to 2.5 hours long and depart at 11 am and 5 pm. Tours end around 1.30pm or 7.30 pm. We prefer applicants to be at least 25 years old, although exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. Please no undergraduate students.
INTERVIEWS:
Interviews will be held between October 04th, 2024 and October 06th, 2024.
TRAINING:
Training begins from October 10th, 2024 on, and lasts approximately 2-3 weeks. Training is paid.
PAY:
Once hired and trained, Tour Leaders receive on average $30/hr to $50/hr. Including gratuities, most Tour Leaders average between $80-$150 per tour. Tours are up to 2.5-hours long.

You are required to own a mobile phone, have desktop/laptop-based Internet access in your place of residence and check your email at least once per day.
