Top Right is My Abuela with my Mom as a Newborn in Cuba 🇨🇺

Bottom Left is my Mom with me as a Newborn in Miami.

When we visited Cuba in 2020, I was 3 months pregnant with my daugther. And I had no idea the picture of my Mom and Abuela existed.

I did howeverr immediately remember the one of my mom and I.

When it was time to introduce my daugther to the world. I recreated the image, so that my daugther will always know that her life, her freedom, her ability to thrive and be whomever she wants to be, exists because women before paved the way with so much strength, dignity and sacrifice.
