Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 4

This is what you need to create this gourmet Masterpiece:

INGREDIENTS
- 4 Ripe tomatoes
- 6 oz soft mozzarella. I prefer Burrata, but this falls apart a bit, so if you prepare this dish for the first time, it might be easier to use regular Mozarella.
- 4 tbsp of Olive Oil Cartel Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Use more if you prefer
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Handful of Basil leaves. If you find basil overpowering, you can opt for smaller leaves. Do not cut Basil with a knife, because the leaves will discolor.

HOW TO:

Instructions

- Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and dry.

- Cut vertically into the tomatoes, making sure not to cut down through the bottom edge. Leave about a 1/2-inch of tomato flesh from the bottom of the tomato to the edge of the cut.

- Slice the mozzarella into 1/2-inch slices and wedge each between the tomato crevices.

- Place a basil leaf next to each mozzarella slice.

- Pour the Olive Oil Cartel Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the tomatoes while making sure some oil goes inside the crevices' and between the layers of basil, mozarella and tomato.

- Make sure to season salt on the caprese salad as well. Use pepper to taste and to create a little spicy finish.

Optional: Drizzle a little bit of balsamic glaze or vinegar over the top of the tomatoes. Only use a little bit, since the flavor can be really overpowering.

Enjoy this beautiful, impressive and tasty Masterpiece!
It is such a beauty.
