Task list consisting of:
- Planting fruit trees & Native pollinators
-Moving Soil and Mulch
-Moving Cinder Blocks
-Building mini trellis

Please dress comfortably and bring protection from the Sun ☀️ 🥵

Join us in Liberty City as we help to support one of the last remaining historical buildings of Liberty Square

We are joining in to help support the MEYGA Learning Center! Help us to install a little Chef Farm that will be utilized to grow fresh produce and to teach children to using them for culinary skill building 👩‍🍳 🧑‍🍳 🌶️🥬🥗🍆🥔🧅🍅🫑

- Learn how build a tiny farm
- Learn about MEYGA learning center
- Bring Love and Support to Liberty City
- Bring protection from the sun
- Snacks and drinks provided
- Be part of history with us

Join us in helping to restore our composting area! The goal is to clean up and mulch the space so we can prepare to collect compost for future drop off 🥗🥙🥬🍌🥑🥚🥜🥔🍉🍞🍠

You’ll also learn the do’s and don’t on what to add into your compost, how to easily break down food scraps, the right amount too add into your veggie rows/planting area and much more!!

We will have free seeds to collect from Mustard Green, Tokyo Bekana and Bok Choy

-Please dress comfortably
-Bring protection from the heat
-Bring a reusable water bottle (refill station available)
-Prepare to get dirty

This is a call for new growers and anyone looking for a way to start 📣

Join us for our propagation workshop 🌱🪾🌾 this Saturday in Overtown where you’ll learn how to grow from seeds and successfully grow various perninnal plants from cuttings

-Dress comfortably 🧑‍🌾
-Bring protection from the sun
-Water station for reusable bottles
-All items provided (Limited quantity)


Additionally we will have gardening and planting opportunities to tend to the land starting as early as 8:30am
