Thank you to every single person who joined us last night at the Ceremony of the Heart 🙏🤎

Thank you for choosing yourselves.

Thank you for choosing to be in this space with us.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for trusting our Cacao Sol family and community with your stories, your tears, your laughter, your prayers, and your dance.

At the end of each ceremony we always realize that every act of healing that we do for ourselves ripples beyond the ceremony space and into our own individual family.

When one heart opens up, an entire community starts to make major shifts and changes.

We at Cacao Sol are extremely grateful for the medicine of cacao but always want to always remind everyone that cacao and even this ceremony are not the destination.

Instead, they are an invitation to become present, to listen, to slow down, to pray, and to remember above all that love and choosing to love is our greatest purpose on this planet.

To Joy, Elliot, and Adeline at the Peacemaker Studio, THANN YOU for opening your doors to us last night. Thank you for your love, collaboration, attention to detail, loving support, generosity, and care.

Together last night, we all got to create a home where people gathered, reconnect to themselves, made new friends and remember what truly matters in this world.

Family. 🌅🫂🙏

Not everyone who serves does it with words.

Some people serve through their presence.

Some serve through listening.

And others serve through their music.

Many of us know Cami🌿🧿 from our Cacao Sol markets, ceremonies, and community gatherings.

But what many people don’t know is that one of the ways Cami shares her heart is through her music.

There is something beautiful that always happens when Cami sings at our home or in ceremony.

For a few moments, everything around us becomes still.

We slow down long enough to stop and listen.

Our walls come down. We feel a deep sense of relief.

And we begin to feel present with ourselves and each other again.

This Saturday, Cami will be sharing her music at ChoZen Eco-Retreat during their yearly Summer Solstice event.

Then on Sunday she’ll be with the community at the Boca Raton Farmers Market Boca Raton Farmers Market | Sundays serving cacao as she always does.

If your path continues leading you in this direction, we’d love to welcome you also to share a cup of cacao and prayer with us and Cami at our Ceremony of the Heart on June 28th The Peacemaker Studio

Not because we are trying to fill spots or sell you anything.

But because life feels a little better when good people gather together over music, connection and prayer.

Cami, thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us.

Whether through your voice, your presence, your kindness, or your willingness to show up for the people in our community, your voice touches more and more people each week and for that we are grateful.

We’ll be cheering you on this weekend. ❤️

Con Mucho Amor,

Your Family at Cacao Sol 🍫🌅💚

A Prayer for Angela

A few days ago, we had the privilege of sitting with Angela Don and her family to share a simple yet very powerful cacao sol ceremony of the heart.

There were no grand introductions.

No prepared speeches or even perfect words.

Just a family and group of friends facing something new and incredibly challenging.

Angela has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

This Friday June 19th, she will undergo major surgery to replace part of her hip and femur.

After the surgery, Angela will have to learn how to walk again.

She is now thirty years old, a beautiful mother of two, and wife to my long time friend and brother Asher Godfrey.

What has moved me the most since hearing about Angela’s diagnosis is her spirit, her determination, optimism, and her absolute refusal to let this condition have the final word on her life.

This weekend she said to all of us:

“I’m going to fight this. I’m going to get strong again. I’m going to walk again.”

Today, I would like to ask our Cacao Sol family and everyone who has read up to this point for something simple.

Pray to God, send healing energy, light a candle, and hold Angela in your heart.

Pray for her surgeons.

Pray for her healing.

Pray for her family.

Pray for peace wherever there is fear.

Pray for strength wherever there is uncertainty.

And if you’d like, allow her story to help you.

Help you appreciate your health and tell the people you love that you love them.

Stop waiting for the “right time.”

Life is precious and it’s moments like this that remind us of just how precious life really is.

Angela, we love you.

The entire Cacao Sol community is standing with you.

May God’s peace surround you, May God’s strength support you, and may God’s healing be with you every step of your journey.

❤️

Those are Mayra’s words.

Somewhere during her first encounter with Cacao Sol, something changed.

Her voice didn’t sound like the voice of someone who had lost everything.

It sounded like the voice of someone remembering that there is still a lot to live for.

People ask me what cacao is and what it does.

The truth is that cacao has been used for thousands of years as a heart opening medicinal plant.

Not because it magically solves our problems, but because it invites us to slow down, and reconnect with ourselves and the people around us.

That’s why so many people are now starting their mornings with cacao instead of coffee.

Less rush.Less grief.More connection.

If you’ve been curious about trying ceremonial cacao for yourself, we’d love to share it with you.

❤️ Explore Cacao Sol and discover why so many people are making cacao a part of their lives.

“Cacao came into my life when it was needed so bad. My heart was closed. There was so much grief.”

Those are Mayra’s words.

When Mayra first came to one of our ceremonies, she was carrying the loss of her husband of 40 years and her mother not long after.

She sat with us.
She shared her story and we all prayed together.

Somewhere during the evening, she sat up, walked to the altar and started singing one of her songs.

Her voice didn’t sound like the voice of someone who had lost everything.

It sounded like the voice of someone who was remembering all that she still had to live for.

People ask me all the time what cacao does.

And honestly, I don’t think it’s just the cacao that helps with healing.

It’s about what happens when people feel safe enough to be heard and seen in the midst of their community while drinking cacao and opening their hearts.

That’s what I love most about this work. It’s not about the product of cacao itself.

It’s not even about the ceremony.

It’s watching people remember who they are underneath what they’ve been carrying in them for so long.

Moments like this remind me that healing doesn’t always come from having all the answers or from a well crafted speech.

It comes from listening, slowing down, holding something warm in your hands, and sharing a song, with a community of people that’s willing to listen.

If you’d like to experience this for yourself, type the word “Ceremony” to join us at one of our upcoming gatherings, song circles, cacao making workshops and farmers markets.

We love you all and can’t wait to hear from you soon.

Con Mucho Amor,

Cacao Sol 🍫🌅

Listen deeply, gather with friends, and remember what matters most to us.

Are you looking for connection?

A moment of presence in a world full of distraction?

If you’ve been looking for that feeling in a time when so many people feel isolated.

We get it.

Our friend Michelle Alva has dedicated much of her life to studying the science of love, human connection, and the benefits of therapeutic touch.

In this video, she shares how cacao has supported her work, her relationships, and the communities she serves.

If you’ve been calling in deeper connections, stronger community, or simply a more intentional way to start your day, this invitation is for you.

Watch Michelle’s story and let us know:

What helps you feel most connected to the things and people you love?

Join us at the next Ceremony of the Heart on June 28th and visit us online at cacaosol.com to see how Cacao Sol can support you on your journey towards a more meaningful and intentional life.

Con mucho amor,

Cacao Sol 🍫🌅❤️
