Today I made lentils!

They’re easy to make, nutritious, and my kids love them!

Ingredients:
• 1 bag of lentils
• 3 bacon strips (diced)
• Mirepoix (diced onion, carrots, and celery)
• 3 sweet mini peppers
• Protein of your choice (I used seared diced pork loin)
• Boiling water
• Salt

Instructions:
Cook the bacon until golden brown. Add the vegetables and sauté for a few minutes. Then add the diced pork loin and the drained lentils (I soaked them in water for about 15 minutes beforehand).

Pour in boiling water and let it cook over medium heat for about 25 minutes.

For me, they’re perfect just like this and ready to enjoy! Sometimes I add a drizzle of olive oil on top. My kids love adding a little Parmesan cheese.

They’re easy to make, nutritious, and my kids love them!

• 1 bag of lentils

CVI.CHE 105 my favorite Peruvian spot in Miami, is now at Sawgrass Mills, and of course we had to check it out ✨

Next week I’m going back for a mother-daughter day after some shopping, and I’ll be ordering a Hotate Roll and the “ceviche ganador” 🤍
