Comfort food - Italian style!! Chicken Cacciatore!! Cacciatore translates to "hunter" in Italian, and the traditional preparation (pollo alla cacciatora) means "hunter-style" chicken. It dates back to the Renaissance and features meat braised with onions, herbs, vegetables, tomatoes, and wine. My recipe is super easy to make and packed with so much flavor. It's blackberry season on Block Island - the MOST wonderful time of the year!! My daughter, Laura, and I went picking today and the first dish I always make with our haul is blackberry cobbler!! Sooooo freakin' good!!! My favorite dessert of all time!! 😍☀️🥧❤️
