There are days when this career feels glamorous… and then there are the days built on airports, early mornings, endless follow ups, market pressure, and learning how to smile through chaos with a wine glass in one hand and a strategy in the other.

Being a brand ambassador is not simply “talking about wine.” It is building relationships, earning trust, opening doors that do not always want to open, and representing a philosophy and a story bigger than yourself.

My journey with Ventisquero Wine Estates in Florida has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my career. Every tasting, every account, every meeting has demanded resilience, adaptability, patience, and passion.

I have learned that resilience is not always loud. Sometimes it simply means showing up again after rejection. Sometimes it means adjusting, learning, and continuing forward even when the path feels uncertain.

Behind every bottle poured, there is effort people rarely see. But there is also purpose. And that makes every challenge worth it!

Five years ago, The Wine Chaser wasn’t a company. It was a bet. A bet on trusting our taste, backing the right people, and figuring it out as we went.

This anniversary wasn’t about making things look perfect. It was about good wine, good people, and remembering why we started in the first place.

Huge congrats to Yeney Fariñas () of Cigarella and Elizabeth Campos () of Casa San Matías for being part of the night and this journey. Shout out to Justo and Yali for the delicious cake, and to Desafinado’s () and the band American Gypsy for bringing the night to life. We truly had a blast!
