Job Description
Position: Logistics assistant – Part time Internship (will turn into a full time job)
(Bilingual English/Spanish) French or any add language is a plus.
Position based in Downtown Miami.
Full time position from Monday through Friday, additional overtime opportunity available on special projects and seasonal peaks.
Essential Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Handle logistics with domestic and international customers
• Communicate with different logistic vendors, such as: shipping lines, trucking companies, custom brokers etc.
• Invoice clients and manage receivables/payables
• Answer incoming calls and handle as necessary
• Facilitate travel arrangements
• Perform other job related functions as assigned
Educational and other requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Ability to provide clear and concise directions verbally
• Strong Computer skills: Excel/Word/Outlook/Dropbox/GoogleDrive/Web capabilities
• Work well independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Spanish
• Strong work ethics of integrity, honesty, and striving for excellence in all activities
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Quickbooks knowledge a big plus
