How I started ELDERBEARIES BY JEN·
February of 2017, to help a cough that wouldn’t go away, a friend gave me the recipe for something I’d never heard of, - elderberry syrup. Within a week of drinking some every day, my cough was gone! I continued making and using elderberry syrup these 3 years during cold and flu season to help my family fight off illness. This winter, someone suggested others may

be interested in purchasing my syrup and so I began the process of starting a business. After reaching out and having many of my friends interested, I decided to start a business. It took about a month to go through the whole process to be sure that I’m legal, but as of March 5, 2020 I am now licensed by the State of Ohio to produce elderberry syrup for sale, out of an approved licensed, commercial kitchen. My hope is to offer my products to provide the same immune boost to others that our family has found!
