We stopped in Sunday to see Carl. He took care of us with a couple of slabs of ribs and some beef sticks, jerky and cheese .

Wonderful people great service sticks are always fresh sometime they give you a little break for your repeat buying and you get enough for a soda!!
If you're heading to Michigan City to the outlet mall, you need to check out this gem and bring a cooler. Lange's Old Fashioned Meat Market 218 W. 7th Street. Just down 7th from Barker Mansion. From the moment you walk into this store you'll know it's special. Fresh brats, all beef hotdogs, aging steaks. I'm going back to get one of his beautifully aged tomahawk steaks. Every thing is made in house. He is famous for his liver sausage, liverwurst. I am not a fan of liver, but this made me a believer and will be the main ingredient of my sandwich on the Manistee salmon fishing. Enough about the meat, Peat Lange treats you like a long-lost friend. Willing to answer any question about his products and is very generous with samples. For those who had spent time in Germany you will feel right at home in that market. Don't take my word for it, go and find out for yourself. Then invite me to the BBQ cause you will be bringing back meat for one
