Nourished to a T Bakery Welcome to my corner of sourdough haven! My name is Tierney and I am a holistic health coach, wife, and mom of 2 kiddos.

Sourdough became my passion in 2021 when I realized how important it was to learn basic skills to feed my family with food I could produce on my own. True story: I actually had a customer tell me her & her husband couldn’t wait to dig in before leaving the driveway after picking up a fresh loaf of cheddar jalapeño. They were breaking pieces right off the bread. That’s how good it is. 😮‍💨

There’s just something about fresh sourdough the crackling crust, the smell of slow fermentation, and that first warm slice with melting butter that feels like pure comfort.

Fresh baked and made with love. And yes… it tastes as good as it looks. 🤍🍞

Sometimes I let my sourdough starter over-ferment. Why you might ask?
More time = more sour, and honestly… relatable.
I’ll remix the bubbles around the 24-hour mark, let it go another 12–16 hours, then pull the discard and refeed a small amount.
A reset for the starter. A refresh for me. A reminder that slowing down can be a good thing.
Because some days we all need to be a little sour before we’re ready to rise. 🍞✨
