Thank you everyone who came out this Sunday for our annual BARKtoberfest fundraising event for The Rescue Inn!!! It was BY FAR our biggest year yet: with your help, we raised over $7,000 for the Rescue Inn, with one dog already adopted in the day since and with many more applications flowing in! Thank you to all of the Rescue Inn volunteers, Fat Head’s Staff, our friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka, and thank YOU for all of your incredible generosity. Off to a great start! Pimp My Sleigh Belgian-style Christmas Ale is getting started in our old-world-style open fermentation system! It’s a great opportunity for a unique view of the yeast at work as the beer begins its fermentation process. Check out this time-lapse and watch the krausen, the frothy layer of yeast and hop proteins that forms on top as the brew ferments, expands and eventually reaches the top of the tank over roughly 24hrs!
