Nothing big and fancy to post today, just some rainy day snoozing and a little farm update. ☔❤️

The babies are doing great! Bitty and Rip have become fast friends and are getting along wonderfully. Bitty has taken to the bottle like a champ, which has been a very welcome change after the battle we had convincing Rip that bottles weren't evil. 🤦‍♀️😂

Speaking of Rip, his "brain surgery" is coming along nicely. 🤣 No swelling, no concerns, and he's 100% back to being a complete menace to society. Unfortunately, he's now teaching little Bitty all of his tricks and bad habits. 🤦‍♀️🫠

Meanwhile, Ben has been working his tail off at the property whenever the weather decides to cooperate. Considering he's tackling it mostly by himself, he's gotten an incredible amount done! Most of the trees we marked on the front half have been cut down, a lot of the brush and undergrowth has been cleared, and we've got the whole property line strung and cleared, ready for fencing.

The driveway is finally fixed and usable, and for the first time we're really starting to visualize everything. We've got a pretty good idea of where we want the house, where the animal pens will go, and how we want everything laid out.

It's still a lot of work, but every weekend we're getting a little closer. Watching it slowly come together is so exciting, and I can't wait to see where we'll be a few months from now. ❤️

For now though, we're enjoying the rain, the baby cuddles, and the rare moments when Rip isn't causing chaos. 😂
👉 What's your favorite rainy day activity? Ours apparently involves baby goat cuddles and dreaming about where to put fences. 😂🐐🏡💕

✨ NAME REVEAL! ✨

Even though we had a few names we were tossing around, one nickname quickly started sticking... and apparently she approved. 😂

The moment Ben walked in carrying this little girl, the first words out of my mouth were, "Awww, she's an itty bitty little thing!" 🥹

From there she became Itty Bitty, Bitty Baby, Little Bitty, Bitty Boo... basically anything with "Bitty" in it. 🤣

Well, somewhere along the way she decided that was her name because she already responds to it! 😂 So the decision has officially been made...

💕 Her name is BITTY! 💕

And to make it even more special, there's a little sentimental meaning behind it. My little brother has called me "Bitty" for as long as I can remember, and Ben's late grandmother was known by many as "Biddie." So without even planning it, this sweet little girl ended up with a name that carries a piece of both of our families. ❤️

So welcome to the farm, Miss Bitty! 🥰
💕🐐 ❤️

These two are becoming two peas in a pod and it's honestly the cutest thing ever! 🥹❤️

Rip follows me everywhere I go, and now little miss follows Rip, so we've got a constant three-goat conga line happening around the farm. 🤣

This morning I got baby girl to take a bottle, and let me tell you... it was SO much easier than getting Rip to take one! 🤦‍♀️😂 He was younger than she is now and acted like I was personally offending him every feeding at first. 🫠

And now she has discovered that fingers exist... and apparently they are for sucking. 🤣 Don't leave them dangling within reach because she is NOT picky! 🫣😂

She's still a little shy and flighty, but she's settling in so quickly. Every day she's getting a little more confident, a little more curious, and a little more comfortable with us. Watching these two become best friends has been absolutely precious. ❤️

I have a feeling these two are going to keep us on our toes! 😅

🚨 The Big Reveal! 🚨

Meet the newest member of For Heaven's Sake Farm! 🥹❤️

This little bitty baby girl is a 7-week-old Nigerian Dwarf, and somehow she's half the size of little (apparently not so little anymore 🤭) Rip!

She's still a little nervous about all the new sights, sounds, and people, but she's already starting to come around. Every hour she seems a little more curious and a little more confident. 🥰

I am absolutely in love with this tiny girl already! ❤️

And let's all take a moment to appreciate Ben, who got sent on a 4-hour adventure last night to bring her home. 🫣🤣 I'd say it was worth every mile!

Now we just need this sweet girl to settle in and decide we're not so scary. 😅

Welcome to the farm, little lady! 💕🐐

🥰🐐💕

Well... we may have done a thing. 👀

A new little farm friend is officially on her way home, and let's just say we're pretty excited over here! 🥰

The kids are already making name suggestions, and we've got a feeling she's going to fit right in with our crew of misfits and troublemakers. 🤦‍♀️😂

Before we introduce her, let's have some fun...

👇 Drop your guess on what she is and best name suggestions in the comments ?👇

Who knows... maybe one of you will pick the winning name. 😉

We'll post the big reveal tomorrow!!

🐐✂️ Rip had a rough morning... 😬🤣

Well, little Rip got banded this morning.

Poor dude wasn't exactly thrilled about the situation, but it's for the best! 😂

Bo, Kota, Callie, and Jolene all agree he'll survive just fine since they've all been subjected to some form of farm-life betrayal at one point or another. 🤦‍♀️😅

The funniest part? Convincing Ben to hold him for me. Apparently just the thought of what was about to happen caused him emotional damage. 🫠🤣 I think watching it firsthand hurt his manhood more than it hurt Rip!

Meanwhile, Rip's over here acting like nothing happened and is already back to his usual routine of eating, playing, climbing on things he shouldn't, and generally being a menace to society. 🙄🐐

Farm life isn't always glamorous, but sometimes it involves awkward conversations, nervous goat dads, and making decisions that are best for the animals even when they don't appreciate them. 😂

Sorry, buddy. One day you'll understand... probably not, but we're telling ourselves that anyway. 🤣🐐💙

🐐💛 Growing up way too fast... 💛🐐

It feels like just yesterday we brought little Rip home at 5 weeks old, struggling to take a bottle and keeping us worried sick. 🥺

Now he'll be 8 1/2 weeks old on Wednesday, has pretty much decided to wean himself, and spends his days eating hay, causing chaos, and acting like he owns the place. 😂

Case in point: instead of eating from his hay box, he decided to climb IN it and take a nap. 🤦‍♀️🤣

This little guy has come so far in such a short time, and we couldn't be more proud of him. 💛

This weekend he'll be getting banded, and once he's completely off the bottle, he'll finally get to move outside and join Loui! 🙌🐐

Something tells me those two are going to keep us entertained... and probably in trouble. 😅

For now, we're soaking up the baby snuggles while we still can because this sweet little man is growing up way too fast. 🥹💛

💪🐷🐰🐔 Part 3: The Chore Marathon Continues... 😂

I think we've officially earned a nap 😅

Today we got the giant hay-and-poop pile cleaned out of Jolene and Bubba's pen, refreshed their house, got Snowy and BunBun's hutch cleaned, and knocked out 4 out of 5 chicken coops! 💪😁

Honestly, we probably would've finished all of them too... BUT then we had a little surprise appearance 🤭😍 and naturally everything else got put on hold while we stopped to admire it. 🥰

And while I was busy being distracted by the surprise, look what Ole Bubba decided to do... 🤦‍♀️🤣

I guess the pig pool is out of order or something because this boy found his own way to cool off 🫠😅

Farm animals really have a special talent for making extra work while simultaneously being the reason you can't stay mad about it 😂💛

Stay tuned... at this rate there might be a Part 4. 🤣
