Team CFF had a successful two weeks at HITS Culpeper! and Dreams Happen brought home the champion ribbon in the Short Stirrup Eq and got great ribbons in the SS Hunter! and Electrik had super consistent rounds and brought home results in the adults both weeks, competed in their first derby together week 2 and brought home reserve in the USHJA 2’9! Jackpot jumped clear rounds in the 1.0m and 1.10m, getting results in every section he entered! and Kestrel had their best two weeks yet, winning 6/8 o/f rounds in the Older Adults, placing top three or better in every other class and bringing home champion two weekends in a row! Last but not least, our young hunters, Carla and Mabel learned a lot in the ticket rings, such a great opportunity to bring them to an inviting venue with lots of schooling options! Big thanks to and for all their help to make the show run smoothly!

ISO: small/medium children’s pony hunter year L with option. Kiddo is currently riding a saintly 29yo short stirrup machine and we’d love to find another with an equally good mind. Pony would want for nothing, live in a professional program, get lots of show miles and big kid/adult rides as needed. Ideal scenario for someone with a quiet/safe green pony that needs mileage or for an older division pony looking to step down. Must have a lead change and not need an exorcism for a petite 9yo to ride it on a windy day. PM or WhatsApp videos. Budget dependent on quality.

Every day since the day I met her in 2017, I have thought the world needs more horses like Leena. I’ve always said that Leena is the most generous horse I’ve ever competed and she’s proven to be equally generous in the breeding department, giving me two embryos by Chacco Blue II on our first try. The “twins” are now in their individual recipient mares and heartbeats were confirmed last week! Huge thank you to Dr. Ellen Stephens for getting my girl in foal and to Dr. Schofield at Select Breeders for the embryo transfer services. Can’t wait to see what this match produces, fingers crossed for uneventful pregnancies and some very bouncy babies spring 2024!

Upperville and Loudoun 2023 were a whirlwind! Jackpot moved up to the 1.15m and put in a stellar double clear round at Upperville! Kestrel and had fabulous weekend at Loudoun, bringing home lots of ribbons in the Older Adults and 3rd in the classic! Sambalina and had a great showing in the Younger Adults and then Samba went on to collect more ribbons with in the Low Children’s including 2nd in the classic! Jamal Z and were reserve in the Low Children’s and won the classic out of 25! Dreams Happen and competed in the VA Bred ponies (including a model!) for the first time and brought home ribbons in the Short Stirrup o/f! Last but not least, my good friend and Casper 429 joined us for the weekend and knocked it out of the park in the High Adults, taking home 7th in the speed and 6th in the $5k Classic! Big thanks to and for being the best behind the scenes crew and of course to my barn moms, , and for all you do!

Great day at Swan Lake! Kestrel and had super consistent rounds and brought home champion in the Adult Hunters! Dreams Happen and counted all their strides and took home champion in the Hopeful Hunters! Last but not least, Jackpot finished in the ribbons in both of his jumper classes!

We had the best time at HITS Culpeper! Big improvements made to the facility, friendly, attentive staff and great results! Melissa Zimmerman’s Kestrel was champion of the USHJA 2‘9 and brought home ribbons in the Adult Eq and 3ft Adult Hunters, including 4th in the NAL/WIHS Classic!
Courtney Anne’s Jackpot put in two double clear rounds in the 1.0m Jumpers, bringing home a third both days out of 20+ entries!
Last but not least, Leena M jumped into first in the Open 1.30m!
Big thanks to Phillip Goff for being my number one cheerleader, groom and human every day but especially during a busy show week! Thanks also to Melissa and Courtney for their trust and support to develop their young horses! Nigel and JP are such wonderful creatures!

Huge congrats to the Wyman-Barrett family on their purchase of Marrera SW! We all loved “Rikki” from the moment his precious hooves set foot in our barn and I am so glad his short-term lease turned into a long-term partnership with Maya! Can’t wait to watch them grow together in the jumper ring!

We are thrilled to congratulate the Buytenhuys family on their lease of Paint the Wind, aka Picasso! He’s been a wonderful partner for Maya over the last several years and we’re excited to see him and his new rider grow together! Happy to be home after a fun filled two weeks at HITS Culpeper! Big thanks to Samantha for always giving the horses a super experience in and out of the show ring and thanks to Izzy and Sophia for all of their help behind the scenes!
Big congrats to Annabella Wyman and Kelsey Sullivan for finishing 8th and 2nd in the $2500 USHJA National Derby respectively the first week. Good luck to both these lovely ladies as they head to college this week!
Congrats also in order for Emma Woodworth’s Pinot del Sole and Sam, who won several 3’9 Green over fences classes and picked up a 3rd the first week and 2nd (by one point!) the second week in the National Derby.
Young jumper All Inn vh Beeckhof Z moved up confidently to his age group and took home a blue in the 1.30m 7yos week 2.
Emma Woodworth’s young horse, My Rina was champion of the Baby Greens week 1, reserve 5/u Young Hunters week 2 and got great ribbons with Melissa Zimmerman in the Novice Adults.
Ashley Clark’s Tsunami took home a ribbon in every class she entered in the training and baby green hunters.
The Wyman-Barret family’s young horse, EHF London Time also brought home a blue over fences and continues to develop into a super hunter prospect.
Last but not least, newcomer Charly 1713 exceeded all expectations, bringing home reserve week one in the baby greens and moving up to the 3ft greens week two, winning an over fences and finishing 10th in his first National Derby!

Know Me van Equinta confidently cruises around the 1.10m at Vermont Summer Festival! Snowball was leased to a junior rider for the last year and was an absolute packer, saint for her in the .80m. He is back in the barn and ready to bring the next rider up the levels in the jumper ring! 2010 16.2hh BWP gelding by Edjaz vh Merelsnest. While I was away catching some rays in 🇲🇽, Sam and the team were hard at work showing at Swan Lake! Lars made his baby green debut, bringing home a ribbon in every class! This beautiful, sweet and did I mention BEAUTIFUL youngster is off to great start in the show ring. He would be a super prospect for an amateur to finish in a program. Lars has plenty of step for the 3’6, auto change, super soft mouth, comfortable, and is as cute as they come. Recent rads. Clean vetting. Located in Middleburg VA.

One of the best things about Florida was that we sold all of our young hunters. Woot. That was possible because a. We had some super horses. b. Sam is an amazing jockey and got great results. c. The months preceding the Florida circuit we selected quality young horses and developed them properly so that they were ready to be sold to the end buyer.
We’ve restocked with promising young horses and started the process of development once again. It’s so exciting to watch these European talents become American show hunters. Big thanks to Samantha Wolfram for her patience and skill with our babies, Sophie Kane goes the extra mile every day to help them learn to horse and Mario, Ella and Kate for their work behind the scenes. Thanks goes to Samantha Franklin and Morven Park for putting on a summer show series that’s the perfect environment for our babies to learn the job. And thank you to our investors for making it possible to have these special creatures in the barn.

We had a super week at Swan Lake for St. Christopher’s! Young hunters My Rina and Tsunami made their baby green debuts and brought home ribbons in every class.
Melissa Zimmerman’s Kestrel was ah-mazing in the 3ft greens and be-bopped around the modified hunters, bringing home a pair of seconds with Sally Sullivan!
Sam and Pinot del Sole had beautiful trips in the 3’9 Greens and took home 6th in the National Derby with an 87 and 88!
Kelsey and Diamant’s Cupido Z brought home a 4th in the Maclay and 8th in the combined 3’6 Jr Classic!
Maya Wyman and Electrik confidently moved up to the 3ft Adults and won the Dover medal! Maya also had a super weekend with Paint the Wind, placing in every class of the low adult jumpers! Delaney Sullivan and Jamal Z put in a great round in the 2’6 Derby! Last but not least, Leena M won the 1.30m, 8th in the Welcome Stake and finished 12th in the GP! Big thanks to Mario, Sophie and Elysse for all their work behind the scenes and to Phil for holding down the fort back home! As always, HUGE thank you to Samantha Wolfram for giving the horses a great experience in and out of the ring and being my right hand woman, I couldn’t do it without you!
