New wine release & new cheese feature TODAY!
2021 Cabernet France Limited Release is a small, 4 barrel production of Cab Franc that created a beautifully light expression of the varietal that deserved its own label.
This month's cheese feature is an absolute favorite, Crucolo! This is a creamy cow’s milk cheese from the Italian Alps with a surprisingly tangy finish alongside Molinari salame, cipollini onions, apples, bourbon berry jam, & crackers.
Harvest is here! This morning, our extraordinary vineyard crew harvested our first vintage of Viognier from the Greenhill estate in Block 5!

In 2022, we offered a brand new monthly event to our members with our First Fridays at the Manor House! It has been so fun for us to welcome our amazing club members with a great addition of live music and food trucks. Be sure to join us at the next one, THIS Friday, September 1st from 5-8 pm!

In 2021, we were able to welcome back larger events! For the first time in over a year, we could host dinners, receptions, and gatherings to bring everyone back together and the fun hasn't stopped since! 2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but we are VERY grateful for all of our amazing members and guests who supported Greenhill throughout the pandemic as we transitioned from our normal operations to socially distanced tables, reservations, mini bottles, and more. What a year it was!

Today, we celebrate the opening of our Tasting Room, Club Members’ Lounge, and new production facilities on January 14, 2017! A home away from home for the Greenhill members and Middleburg visitors alike, our doors are open from 12-7pm today and then starting at 11am for members tomorrow for our big 10th Anniversary Celebration!

In 2016, we broke ground on our current main building! With this, our state-of-the-art winemaking facility nearly tripled our production capacity. This year, in celebration of our 10th Anniversary, we bought ourselves an addition to our winemaking facility as a birthday present! Well, actually, two presents! We will officially reveal them, and an exciting new membership opportunity on Saturday!

Some of our white wines are chilling in tank right now from the amazing 2022 vintage, waiting to be bottled in the new year, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… seven vines a sleeping!
Over the past month, the vineyard team has been working on hilling up over 10,000 of our younger vines! This is done to protect the vines from cold damage during the winter months. Hilling up with soil (at least 3 inches in depth) keeps the scion (the portion above the graft union) alive and protects the plant and growth created during 2022.

Tastings are a great way to experience 6 of our wines and learn about Greenhill! We offer tastings at the bar DAILY and one of our Tasting Associates (like Emma here), will guide you through our wines, Greenhill’s history, and our passion for producing 100% Virginia wine.

The 2021 Superstition is being released today! We also have a new tasting menu, which includes this wine, so join us to try it out!
Our tasting notes: A bouquet of ripe bing cherry, violet, and charred cedar is followed by a palate that is lively and approachable with notes of blueberry compote, smoke, and cardamom. The tannins are supple and the finish is round, making this a food friendly red wine.
We're excited to host our inaugural Christkindlmarkt (European-style holiday market) TOMORROW from 12pm to 6pm! This event will take place in our Barrel Room and on the Crush Pad.
