ANIMAL OF THE WEEK: HAI HAI
this boy has been around for quite some time. He started out as my neighbors chicken and ended up jumping the fence and lingering around until he could become boss hoss. Now he’s king rooster of the land and he knows it. He’s about 3 years old and has 75% of the ladies here on the farm . He is a sweetheart but boy he isn’t scared to throw down! Look at them spurs 😱

Couey Acres is now introducing quail!!
We have Standard Brown, and Texas A&M!
We have some ready for processing and also have (11) 2 week old hatchlings that will be available for processing in 4 weeks as well as a dozen eggs for $5!

My homemade babies are doing great . Lost 3 in the process of hatching and of course all 3 were Ayam Cemanis 🫤 still expecting 6-8 more to hatch so we shall see. So far round 1 of the incubator has worked, just gonna have to play with the temp and humidity levels closer to next batch hatching!

2 babies have hatched out of the incubator so far (seabright bantam and Russian orloff) with 6 more piping! Fingers crossed 🤞 🐣
